The State of Atlántico, in association with the Universidad del Norte and the Brownstone Group, is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Atlántico Video Game Summit will take place in Barranquilla, Colombia on May 9-10, 2019, on the campus of the Universidad del Norte.
Similar to last year, the event will
bring notable speakers from the video game industry to discuss issues
pertaining to independent studios, including production, studio organization,
business development, financing and self-publishing opportunities.

Inclucding speakers such as:
Lyle Hall is the President and CEO of Heavy Iron Studios Inc., a company known for developing video games for PIXAR movies. As CEO of Heavy Iron, Lyle has participated in the development of games such as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Wall-E, Up, Evil Dead-Hail to the King, among others.
Louis Rene Auclair
CEO of Rocket Jump Games, Louis Rene Auclair has also served as Chief Brand Officer of Hibernum Games, a developer of games such as The Beauty and the Beast: Perfect Match, Dice with Ellen, and Magic: The Gathering Puzzle Quest. In that company, Louis was responsible for the marketing and business development areas.
Founding Partner of the law firm IE Law Group in Los Angeles, California, Patrick has more than 15 years of experience in the video game industry and has represented both studios and publishers in all periods of time and transactions. Patrick has also participated in negotiating the development of several video games and movies.
George Donovan, a veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the business world of New Brunswick, Canada, has been very successful throughout his professional life. He is currently President and Founder of Gogii Games, an interactive entertainment development studio, located in Moncton, New Brunswick. Since its inception in 2006, Gogii Games has produced 90 unique products on 7 platforms and in 13 different languages. The games that the studio has developed can be found on platforms such as iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon, among others.
Mario Wynands is the Manager and Co-Founder of PikPok, a leading publisher of mobile devices, tablets and computers. In his 22 years at the New Zealand-based company, he led the studio, created a successful portfolio of games and oversaw the creation of many attractive console titles such as Shatter®, GripShift® and Speed Racer: The Videogame, as well as multiple successes in the mobile space including the Flick Kick® series, the Rival Stars® series, the Into the Dead® franchise and Super Monsters Ate My Condo, nominated for BAFTA. Wynands graduated from the University of Victoria in Wellington with degrees in business administration and computer science.
